Sugee Cookies

Found some semolina! So happy, and did some sugee. I like my sugee with some salt and small. This is the first and only recipe my mother-in-law gave me more than 25 years ago, when I first met her. It has since been passed on to many friends and relatives through me.
Probably the simplest Chinese New Year cookies to make. So yeah, why not. It takes me less than 15 minutes from start to finish to get a can of 40 cookies out.
