Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 1recipe from tangzhong bread
Modification to th tangzhong bread
  • Replace the milk with coconut milk + pandan juice
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • * Pandan juice is extracted from 10 pandan leaves
  • A few drops of pandan essence

Method

  1. 01
    To extract the juice from pandan leaves, cut them into 1 inch long pieces, blend them with 6 Tbsp of water and sieve.
  2. 02
    Follow the tangzhong bread recipe.
  3. Buns

    Add a tablespoon of kaya (coconut jam) or shaved coconut filings as filings.
  5. Loaf

    Shape and bake, allows loaves to proof an additional 15 minutes.
