If you have only 8 minutes to cook, then I’d recommend this dish. It tastes delicious, better than that instant noodles, and definitely more nutritious.

Ingredients:

2 servings of Dried Noodles
1 cup Pork (minced)
A bunch of Asian greens

Sauce:

2 tablespoons Sesame Paste or Creamy Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons Soya Sauce
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Five Spice Powder
1/2 teaspoon Sichuan Peppercorn (freshly ground)
2 tablespoon Chili Oil (I could not find this, so I just use chili flakes)
1/4 cup of water noodles cooked in

Method:

  1. Cook noodles in a large pot of water until al dente, take the noodles out, and put them into serving bowls.  Keep the water boiling. While the noodle is cooking, prepare the sauce.
  2. Place all ingredients for the sauce into another pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Put 2 tablespoons of the sauce in a pan, and add the minced pork to it. Add additional seasoning if required.
  4. Cut the vegetables to bite size and put them into the same water used to cook the noodle, and kept hot. Once the water boils again, remove the veggies.
  5. Assemble by placing the vegetables over the noodles, and top everything with the pork and then the sauce.
