If you have only 8 minutes to cook, then I’d recommend this dish. It tastes delicious, better than that instant noodles, and definitely more nutritious.
Ingredients:
2 servings of Dried Noodles
1 cup Pork (minced)
A bunch of Asian greens
Sauce:
2 tablespoons Sesame Paste or Creamy Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons Soya Sauce
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Five Spice Powder
1/2 teaspoon Sichuan Peppercorn (freshly ground)
2 tablespoon Chili Oil (I could not find this, so I just use chili flakes)
1/4 cup of water noodles cooked in
Method:
- Cook noodles in a large pot of water until al dente, take the noodles out, and put them into serving bowls. Keep the water boiling. While the noodle is cooking, prepare the sauce.
- Place all ingredients for the sauce into another pot and bring to a boil.
- Put 2 tablespoons of the sauce in a pan, and add the minced pork to it. Add additional seasoning if required.
- Cut the vegetables to bite size and put them into the same water used to cook the noodle, and kept hot. Once the water boils again, remove the veggies.
- Assemble by placing the vegetables over the noodles, and top everything with the pork and then the sauce.
