I use my roti pratas as puff pastries… sometimes… when I run out of puff pastries or when I am too lazy to make them. Roti pratas work the same, if not better and thicker. You can fill them will anything. I used a small can of tuna here.
Ingredients:
2 Roti Pratas (cut into quarters) or 1 sheet of puff pastry
1 small can Tuna (smoked, chilli, anything!)
Method:
- Preheat oven at 190ºC.
- Place a teaspoon of tuna into each and seal by pressing the edges firmly. They seal the best if the pastry is not completely thawed.
- Egg wash the pastry if you want. (Since I figure I will be wasting the rest of the eggs, I decided not to egg wash it)
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool it first before you put them in the lunch boxes. Serves 2.
