Ingredients
  

  • 1lb, shelled and deveined Medium shrimp
  • 1 inch knob, shredded Ginger
  • 3 stalks, shredded Green onion
  • 0.25 Cup Ketchup
  • 1.5 Tbsp Cooking rice wine
  • 1.5 Tbsp Corn starch
  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the shelled and deveined shrimp in the cooking rice wine and cornstarch. Mix well (by hand is the easiest), and set aside.
  • Shred the ginger and green onion.
  • Heat up the vegetable oil in your Mei Wok on high heat until it starts to smoke. Add in the shredded ginger and stir fry until slightly browned at the edges (should only take few seconds).
  • Pop in the shrimp and stir fry quickly, until cooked. Turn off the heat.
  • Add ketchup and shredded green onions into the wok and stir fry quickly and evenly with the shrimp.
  • Dish and serve.
  • I don't know how many people in this group understand my love for ketchup. But I LOVE ketchup Hopefully you guys will try this dish.
